Prior to purchasing The Barron Group, Bo served as a commercial real estate advisor for Sperry Van Ness/The Barron Group, and before that as a commercial real estate specialist for Wm. G. Barron Enterprises. Previously, he served for five years in United States Marine Corps as a sergeant and cryptologic linguist, leading a platoon of more than 20 Marines and earning two joint service achievement medals. Bo holds the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member designation and real estate brokers licenses in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the state of Indiana. Active in his community, Bo is the board president of MentorKids Kentucky, an elder at Owensboro Christian Church, and a former board member of the Owensboro Family YMCA. Bo earned a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communications from Murray State University and an associate's degree in Arabic from the Defenses Language Institute. He is a graduate of the Cryptologic Technician Interpretive Arabic course where he received the Commander's Award for academic achievement. In addition, he is a graduate of the USMC Martial Arts Center of Excellence and holds the Tan and Grey Belt certifications. A native of Owensboro, Kentucky, Bo married his high school sweetheart, the former Autumn Harley, and they are blessed parents of three children. |
